How It Works

To study in Canada, most students need a study permit. The process involves several steps:

Get a Letter of Acceptance (LOA)

Must be from a Designated Learning Institution (DLI)

Secure an Attestation Letter (PAL/TAL)

Now required for most applicants (or CAQ for Quebec).

Gather documents

Passport, proof of funds, photos, LOA, PAL/TAL, and supporting evidence.

Apply online

Create an IRCC account, fill the application, and pay the fee.

Provide biometrics

Most applicants must give fingerprints and photos.

Medical and police checks:

Approval
